I've looked at all of these towns, in one way or another, and dislike them all. And this doesn't even show Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Hudson, Warwick, Providence, Burlington, etc.
Beacon was actually the first place we said (out loud), "We're moving to Beacon!" before even visiting. We got up there and the first person we saw on the completely run down street reminiscent of the South Bronx was a homeless man with a club foot yelling to himself. Roll 'em up.
